Job description
We currently have a full-time position available for a Shipper/ Receiver at our Truro location.
The Shipper/ Receiver will perform general physical activities to clean the warehouse, load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment. This job requires physical strength, including heavy lifting, frequent bending, and working in tight spaces.
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Assisting the shipping and receiving area and with local parts delivery
- Help to organize inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods
- Pack products on pallets to avoid any damage
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Parts experience would be an asset
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred (training available)
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Commitment to a safe workplace
Schedule:
- 9-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Possible overtime
